England 296/1 at lunch

Kolkata: England were comfortably placed at 296 for one in the first innings, trailing India by just 20 runs at lunch on the third day of the third cricket Test at the Eden Gardens here Friday.
Skipper Alastair Cook was batting on 167 and Jonathan Trott 66.
