Attoor Ravi Varma Wins Ezhuthachan puraskaram

Attoor Ravi Varma, one of the pioneers of modern Malayalam poetry, has been selected for this year's Ezhuthachan Puraskaram, the highest literary award instituted by the Kerala Government.
The award carries a cash prize of Rs one lakh, a citation and a plaque.
Tha award was announced by Kerala Culture Minister K C Joseph at a press conference here.
He is also a recipient of the Kendra Sahitya Academy Award for his contributions to literary world.
