Two killed in road mishap

Chathannur: Two persons were killed when a car and a lorry collided on the National Highway near the KSRTC bus depot on Wednesday morning. The lorry, laden with iron rods and bound for Thiruvananthapuram, was hit by the car from behind. Abdul Saleem (44) and Muneera Mansillil Yahiya, (60), hailing from Thiruvananthapuram, were the deceased. They were travelling in the car from Paripulli to Thiruvananthapuram. Abdul Salem is a hotel owner of Arabian Foods situated at the Paripulli junction.
