
Polygraph test: Mani to accept summons Wednesday

Thodupuzha: CPM former Idukki district secretary M M Mani said he would receive the summons on Wednesday for presenting himself for the polygraph test in connection with the Ancheri Baby murder case. Mani said further course of action would be decided only after conducting discussions legally.
A special investigation team re-probing the political murders in Idukki decided issue a notice to four people including CPM leader M M Mani asking them to present for a polygraph test at the Forensic Science Laboratory in Thiruvananthapuram.. The other three are OG Madanan, former district secretary of CITU, AK Damodaran CPM district committee member and Kuttan from Pampupara.
IG K Padmakumar who is leading the probe said that the notice would be issued to four within two days asking to present within 10 days for the test.
The SIT decided to go for polygraph tests after the accused had denied role in Baby's murder. Baby, then a 28-year-old INTUC worker, was murdered on November 13, 1982.
