18 Bangladeshis held in Nedumbassery

Nedumbassery: As many as 18 Bangladeshis were held for staying in the state without valid documents. They were residing in pretext as from Bengal and were working in a brick quarry which is near the airport in Nedumbassery. They were held in raid conducted by Intelligence bureau, special branch and police together . As many as 38 were held under custody. They don't own passport and other needed documents. They reached Kerala via Bengal; and came to Nedumbassery through an agent. Police said case would be registered against the quarry owner. The raid was held as per intelligence report. Earlier the IB reported that using other state workers, there are attempts to distribute fake currency from Pakistan and Bangladesh. They were questioned by various agencies. They will be presented in Aluva court on Monday.
