Though easy to make, it tastes delicious and is a speciality of Kerala. A good practice is essential.
1. Raw rice flour 1/2 cup
2. Maida 1/2 cup
3. Sugar 2 teaspoon
4. Cardamom powdered 1/4 teaspoon
5. Scrapped coconut 1/4 cup
6. Cumin seeds powder 1/4 teaspoon
8. Jaggery 250 gm
9. Coconut oil
Melt jaggery and make a syrup. Make a dough with items 1 to 7 by adding the jaggery syrup. After it is made into a smooth dough, make small balls and keep it aside for 2 hours. Then deep fry it in oil.
