Kollam: Opposition leader V S Achuthanandhan told mediapersons here on Monday that though the party had not welcomed a CBI probe into the murder of TP Chandrashekaran, the party had understood his stand. The decision arrived at the CPI-M politburo meeting in Delhi Sunday said there was no need for a CBI probe into the murder of TP. The CPM had earlier said it was ready for any kind of probe but now has taken a contrary stand.
VS said this when he reached the deceased former MLA's home R Prakasham in Kollam.
