
Three temples exempted from purview of MDB

Thiruvananthapuram:The Kerala government today exempted three temples from the purview of Malabar Devasom Board and Hindu Charitable Trust Act.
The three temples, situated in North Kerala, were set up by noted social reformer Sree Narayana Guru.
Sree Sundreswara Temple at Talap in Kannur, Jaganatha Temple at Thalassery and Sree Kandeswara Temple in Kozhikode would be managed by independent committees, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy told reporters after a cabinet meeting here.
