Mathrubhumi special correspondent C Harikumar passes away

Kochi: Mathrubhumi Pathanamthitta special correspondent C Harikumar (51) passed away here on Saturday. He was ailing for some time due to liver-related diseases and his end came at a private hospital in Kochi. He belongs to Adoor.
Born on March 16, 1961 to R Chandrashekaran Nair P R and Bharati Amma C K, Harikumar worked in Mathrubhumi's various units of Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Pathanamthitta and Alapuzha.
He is survived by wife R Geetha and two children Vishnu Nair and Mahesh Nair.
The body which is kept at the Kochi Medical Centre Mortuary will be taken to Pathanamthitta on Sunday morning. At 10 am the body will be kept at the Pathanamthita Press Club for the public to pay homage and in the afternoon will be laid to rest on the Tharayil House premises near the Adoor new private bus stand.
