P Valsakaumr took charge as Southern Zonal ADG of CRPF

Kochi: P Valsakumar took charge as CRPF southern zone ADG. He is the first Malayalee being selected in this position. The south zone includes, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra, Karnataka, Goa, Gujarath, Maharshta and Pondicherry too.
Valsakumar was appointed in CRPF in 1974 and acted as IG in Bihar and Maharashtra. He also bagged presidents medal and police medals too. He is from Vaduthala , Kochi.
