
Leaking DySP's phone details: Sanal Kumar made accused

Thiruvananthapuram: The BSNL official who had leaked phone information of a DySP in connection with the T P Chandrashekaran case was booked as an accused.
It was junior accountant R S Sanal Kumar attached to the Thiruvananthapuram BSNL principal general manager office who had leaked the call details of a mobile phone used by Vadakara Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy.SP) Jossy Cherian, a member of the special team probing the murder of T.P. Chandrasekharan.
Sanal Kumar was attached in the landline section. The call details can be assessed only by 35 BSNL officials in the state. Sanal Kumar was held after examining the computer accounts.
Sanal Kumar had said that he had given details only to police officials who sought information. The phone details was published by a vernacular daily.
