Youth organisation support BEFI to protest outsourcing
Posted on: 22 Jul 2012
Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) state secretary T V Rajesh has said youth organisations in the state, without considering the political difference, would come on a common platform to protest against the implementing of outsourcing employment in the public sector banks.
Inaugurating a seminar organised by Bank Employees federation of India (BEFI) at Jawahar Library Hall here today, Mr Rajesh alleged that the exam conducted by the Institute for Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has no transparency and it would only result in corruption and sabotage the social justice in recruitment.
The private sector banks are now giving good salary due to the public sector banks otherwise they would start exploiting employees as well as public by imposing more service charges.
He also alleged the state government was also trying to sabotage the statutory pension scheme.
The government is giving more importance to the 56-year-old government employees than the 25-year-old educated youth.
This attempt would only spread enmity among the employees and the youths organisation.
Bharathiya Yuva Morcha District Leader Sreekumar and Youth league district General Secretary P K Subair also addressed the gathering and supported the BEFI in this regard. (UNI)
