Indian Rupee and P Surendran gets Padmarajan awards

Thiruvananthapuram: P Surendran has been selected for the Padmarajan literary award and Indian Rupee for best film award, said Sreekumaran Thampi , trust chairman in a press meet.
The short story written by P Surendran ` Gowthama Vishadayogam' published in Mathrubhumi weekly bagged the award. The award carries cash prize of Rs 10,000, and plaque. Renjith directed Indian rupee and he will get cash prize of Rs 20,000 and plaque. The award instituted by P Padmarajan memorial trust would be presented on May 23 at Thiruvananthapuram.
