Subhash Chandran gets Odakkuzhal award

Kochi: Writer Subhash Chandran has been selected for this years Odakkuzhal award instituted by Guruvayurappan trust founded by Mahakavi G Sankarakurup. His novel `Manushyanu Oru Amukham 'was selected for the award. The award would be presented in a function to be held on February 2 at G Memorial hall. Subhash Chandran is currently working as chief sub editor in Balabhumi, the children's publication from Mathrubhumi. Subhash Chandran hails from Aluva , Kadungaloor. The novel was appeared in Mathrubhumi weekly.
He was selected by a jury comprising Dr M Leelavathi, P Surendran, G Madhusoodanan, and Prof Thuravoor Viswambharan.
Subhash is member of Kerala Sahithya Akademi general council.
