Shobhana George, MR Murali withdraw nomination

Chenganoor: Sobhana George has withdrawn her candidature as independent from Chenganoor. She told mediapersons that there was pressure from party to withdrew the nomination and added that she would work for the UDF candidate PC Vishnunath in the constituency. UDF earlier stated that the party would take action against rebel candidates.
Janakeeya Vikasana Munnai leader AMR Murali has withdrawn his nomination from contesting polls in Shoranur. The meet of the party held on Tuesday evening had decided not to contest him in polls.
