Cinema-drama artist P K Radhadevi dies

Chitoor: Cinema-drama artist and dubbing artist Thodupuzha P K Radhadevi (Radhamani), 67, passed way on Sunday night at her daughter's house in Nallepilly. She was fighting cancer and also kidney diseases. Radhamani, daughter of late Kunjikuttan and Gowriamma, entered the film world through dramas. Dubbing artist late Ratheesh is her husband.

Radhamani who was active in Kalidas Kalakendra and KPAC acted in her first film Aromalunni in 1971. She did supporting roles in more than 300 films and became a lead actress in Adoor Bhasi's film. Her major films are Mazhakkaru, Swapnam, Nellu, Moham, Chuzhi and Kilichundan Mampazham. Her last film was `Soofi Paranja Katha'. She also worked as dubbing artist in more than 600 films. Her creation was held at Thrissur Ivarmodam crematorium
