
Legislation to ensure appoint through Employment Exchange

Thiruvananthapuram:Kerala government plans to bring in a legislation to ensure the filling of all temporary vacanies in government offices through Employment exchanges, State Minister for Labour P K Gurudasan told the assembly today. Replying to a calling attention, Gurudasan said the draft of the bill was under the consideration of law department. The legislation needs recognition of Centre and state would introduce the bill in the assembly once it gets the approval of Centre, he said to the calling attention of B Babu Prasad (cong). Minister also said that all department heads have been asked to report vacancies to Employment exchanges. More than 50000 appointments were made in various departments through Employment exchanges, he said.
